Ms. Pelletier has
been developing custom-designed courses for and teaching the English language and U.S. culture since 1997. Prior to teaching,
Ms. Pelletier worked for ten years in the business sector in operations, sales, marketing and account management. Blending
her experience in the business world with that of her love for teaching communication skills has proven to be her most rewarding
work.
Ms. Pelletier has taught students from Asia, the Middle East, South America, Russia, India, Europe and Africa
in Intensive English Programs at universities and colleges on both coasts ~ Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area. She has
also worked on a one-on-one basis with international professionals in U.S. companies in the software engineering, financial
services, biotechnology, and sound technology industries.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications
with a Concentration on Interpersonal Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a TEFL Certificate from
New World Teachers in San Francisco, California and is a MATESOL candidate with coursework completed at the School for
International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont.
Currently, Ms. Pelletier also enjoys running her own business illustrating
and designing greeting cards and logos. She loves to travel and looks forward to one day embarking on an around-the-world
trip.
